The conversations in my office are most interesting at times.
Especially in the days leading to deployment.
Recently, I had a conversation with SGT "G".
SGT "G" is one of the seven awesome FRLs that I work with.
He was telling me how it was killing him to see spouses cry when they put their SM on the bus.
Ill admit I gave him a raised eyebrow look.
"Why is it killing you?"
"Because I've never been on this end" he said
"This end?"
"Yea, I've always been the one to leave and say good-bye, but now I get to see the other side".
I thought that was interesting.
I never looked at it from that point of view.
